Port Ellen Playing FieldsAt the Playing Fields in Port Ellen you can play tennis or pitch&putt if you're feeling energetic. If you don't want to use up too much energy, then how about a game of bowls or putting. Situated in the middle of the grounds is the pavilion where anything from a cup of tea to a full meal is provided.

Maybe you don't want to participate in any sport, but just want to sit and enjoy watching the world go by - well, this is the place to be. What a beautiful setting, overlooking the lighthouse and the coastlines of the Mull of Oa. the committee strive hard to help you enjoy this magnificent asset to Port Ellen by making this nice for you.

The Port Ellen Playing Fields are open to everyone daily from May to September each year and Sports Gala Day is always the middle Saturday of the Glasgow Fair. Come and see for yourself! The Playing Fields are located between the White Hart Hotel and Port Ellen Maltings, next to Ramsay Hall.
