This building was originally a purpose built barn for feed and equipment storage. It has now been transformed into a two bedroom cottage with large windows and patio doors giving spectacular views down to the lighthouse at Portnahaven and the surrounding area.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms which can be set up as twin or super-king bedded rooms. In between the bedrooms is a shower room with towel rail and lighted mirror.

On entering The Barn there is a utility room with washing machine/tumble dryer and freezer. The bottom floor of the cottage is taken up predominately by a large open plan kitchen/dining/living room with a 40″ Smart HD TV, free internet and sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped with Oven/hob/fridge/freezer/microwave/toaster and dishwasher. We also have installed a hot water tap for teas & coffees.

There is a large dining table and chairs situated next to a patio door size window and a living area with patio doors onto a large private decking area with 4 barrel chairs & table & large picnic table. There is a small hallway at the bottom of the staircase next to which is a family bathroom. The insulation and air source underfloor heating make this a warm and inviting house to stay in whether it be winter or summer.

*Minimum Stay in FEIS WEEK/JULY & AUGUST is 5 nights any day check-in. In quieter months we will accept shorter stays of minimum 4 nights.
