This fresh and cheerful artist’s cottage in a rural setting is only ten minutes drive from the ferry terminal in Port Askaig, Isle of Islay. It is conveniently situated on the road between Port Askaig and Bridgend and gives superb access to Islay’s many attractions – unspoilt beaches, sporting facilities, bird watching, whisky distilleries, historic fishing villages, hotels, cafes and pubs.

The cottage was built in 1853 and extended in the 1950s. It has recently been re-roofed and freshly decorated so that the cottage is welcoming and comfortable. Some original features have been retained adding further character to add to your enjoyment.

A brief summary of the layout: entrance porch, parlour, sitting room, family bathroom, kitchen/dining room, 3 bedrooms, one double, one twin bedded, one Scottish ¾ single bed. Outside there is a large fenced garden with garden furniture.
