As well as providing free advice, the Tourist Information Centre is an excellent source of information. They have a great collection of maps, books and guides for Islay and Jura as well as information about events. The Tourist Information Cenrte is located near the Bowmore Distillery and opposite the co-op supermarket.

If you arrive on Islay and haven't booked any accommodation the centre staff will be delighted to use their comprehensive knowledge of available local accommodation to help you find a bed.
